Kadyrov: presidency in Chechnya is not actual for me
Ramzan Kadyrov, chairman of the Chechen government (prime minister), has expressed his bewilderment with publications and utterances of certain politicians and experts about his soon inauguration as Chechnya president. "I'm already sick and tired of these permanent rumours and conjectures on this occasion," Mr. Kadyrov has told journalists today in Grozny. "Recently, it has become a tradition for certain politicians and journalists, without knowing my opinion, to take responsibility for making decisions instead of me and draw their vague conclusions. The actual aim of these people is to hold their PR actions in the media," the premier of Chechnya said.
"I've stated more than once and state again: the issue is not actual for me," Kadyrov has declared.
"Should people wish to bring good to their nation and homeland not in words but in deeds, we'll have enough job for everybody, irrespective of one's rank and position," Kadyrov has noted, the "Interfax" reports.
We remind you that on Saturday, January 20, the Kremlin held discussions of the nominees for the new president of Chechnya, who will soon replace Alu Alkhanov. According to the information of the "Moskovskiy Komsomolets" newspaper, Magomed Vakhaev, current Minister for Labour and Social Protection of the Chechen Republic, was appointed as the would-be president.
