Premier of Chechnya will take Murtazalieva under his wing
Ramzan Kadyrov, Prime Minister of Chechnya, intends to insist on revision of criminal cases in relation of the Chechens who got to prison under fabricated, as he thinks, allegations.
In particular, Mr. Kadyrov promised to reach a revision of the criminal case in relation to Zara Murtazalieva, a Chechnya resident, convicted and serving her sentence in colony on charges of an attempt of act of terror in Moscow. Kadyrov has doubted her guilt, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 17, 2005, the Moscow City Court found Zara Murtazalieva, a Chechnya native, guilty of involving her friends into terrorist activities and preparing an act of terror, and sentenced her to 9 years of deprivation of freedom. On March 17, 2005, the Cassation Collegium of the RF Supreme Court decreased the term of sentence by 6 months.
