Shootout with law enforcers in Kurchaloi District is this year's fourth in Chechnya

The armed incident in the Kurchaloi District, in which two unknown persons were killed, was preceded by a December 16 counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the Achkhoi-Martan District.

According to sources, in Chechnya, law enforcers shot two unknown persons dead. They attacked a traffic police post when law enforcers stopped the car to check documents.

According to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", the shootout in the Kurchaloi District was the fourth in Chechnya since the start of 2020.

This incident was preceded by a CTO conducted in the Achkhoi-Martan District on December 16. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has stated that the alleged militant, Kazbek Baidulaev, was killed there.

On October 13, in Grozny, law enforcers blocked the house in which the alleged militants were hiding. In the shootout, four of them were shot dead; two "Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard) servicemen and one policeman were killed.

On October 11, a shootout occurred in the Sernovodsk District near the border with the Sunzha District of Ingushetia.

On September 9, 2019, Usman Aziev, a native of the Nadterechny District, was liquidated in the Leninsky District of Grozny. According to law enforcers, the traffic policemen stopped the car, the driver opened fire at them and was killed by return fire.
