Yerevan protesters break into government and parliament buildings
Residents of Yerevan, protesting against the conclusion of peace with Azerbaijan, have broken into the building of the Armenian Government and demanded the resignation of Premier Nikol Pashinyan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia had signed a statement on an armistice in the Karabakh conflict zone. In his turn, Mr Pashinyan, Armenian Prime Minister, wrote in his Facebook page that he made a difficult decision for himself and his people.
Tonight, on November 10, residents of Yerevan, protesting against the cessation of hostilities in the Karabakh conflict zone, broke into the building of the Armenian Government, as follows from the live broadcast from the venue run on the YouTube by the NEWS AM Channel.
Several dozen people tore the plaque off Nikol Pashinyan's personal office and demanded his immediate resignation, calling the Prime Minister a "traitor."
Later, protesters broke into the parliament building and bent the gates, as follows from the broadcast on the NEWS AM YouTube Channel.
Then, they marched to the presidential residence, which is located about 200 meters from the parliament building. The police did not interfere with them. From the building of the presidential residence, part of protesters also moved to the government dachas, where, according to their information, the country's leaders may be present.
