Azerbaijan reports missile attacks on its positions
Last night, positions of the Azerbaijani troops were shelled from missile launchers and artillery pieces, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has reported the death of a volunteer as a result of a strike on the territory of Azerbaijan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on October 26, a new agreement on a humanitarian truce in the Karabakh conflict zone entered into force, but already during the first hours after, the parties exchanged accusations of violating the truce.

Last night, the fighting in the conflict zone mainly took place in the Khojavend (Martuni and Gadrut Districts of Nagorno-Karabakh, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), Fizuli (Gadrut and Martuni Districts of Nagorno-Karabakh, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Gubadli directions of the front, reported the Azerbaijani MoD has stated. "At night on October 29, units of the Armenian Armed Forces shelled from various types of weapons, including missiles and artillery, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army deployed in various sections of the frontline, and the dwelling settlements located near the frontline area," says the MoD's statement sent to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today.
On October 28, during the shelling of the territory of Azerbaijan, an ICRC volunteer was killed, and two others were wounded the ICRC has reported.
