In Armenia, 20 people fell victim to conflict with Azerbaijan

Since the beginning of the hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, one civilian has been killed, and three others, including a child, have been injured. During the above period, five military personnel were killed. "Since September 27, five military personnel have been killed, and 11 others have been injured. They stayed on the territory of Armenia and were not involved in the hostilities in any way," the General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia has reported today.

On October 1, a civilian was killed as a result of a shelling attack on the village of Mets Masrik in the Gegharkunik Region of Armenia. On October 10, out of five military personnel, three were killed in an attack of an assault unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the village of Kagnut in the Syunik Region of Armenia, and two others were killed in an attack on military vehicles on duty at the Shatvan community in the Vardenis District of Armenia on October 14. Furthermore, on October 14, ten Armenian military personnel were wounded, and a teenager was injured nearby.

On October 14, the Azerbaijani armed forces attacked military vehicles on duty in the territory of the Vardenis District of the Republic of Armenia, proceeding only from unfounded assumptions that those military vehicles "were ready to attack peaceful villages, towns, and cities of Azerbaijan," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia announced on October 14.

"All actions of the Azerbaijani side will receive a commensurate response with the means at the disposal of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. We strongly condemn the attempt of the Azerbaijan's armed aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia," the Armenian MFA notes on its official website.
