Law enforcers interrogate relatives of alleged militants killed in Grozny

In Grozny, the owner of the house where the counterterrorist operation (CTO) was conducted, and his two wives, one of whom is pregnant, have been detained. Relatives of those killed are also brought in for interrogations, law enforcement sources have informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 13, in the Oktiabrsky District of Grozny, during a CTO, law enforcers killed four alleged militants. According to law enforcers' data, voiced out by Ramzan Kadyrov, the alleged militants arrived from abroad and had planned to commit a series of terror acts in Chechnya. They were identified as Mairbek Imamurzaev, Magomed Tsuraev, Magomed Magomadov, and Ramzan Murtazaliev.

On October 13, after the casualties had been identified, relatives of all of them were brought to police stations for interrogations, a Chechen law enforcer, who preferred to remain anonymous, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

This information has been also confirmed by the 1Adat Telegram Channel, which notes that after the CTO, Chechen law enforcers have intensified their checks.

In its another report, the channel indicates that law enforcers had kidnapped relatives of the young men killed on October 13, including the most distant ones. Another message reports, on behalf of an officer of the Gudermes ROVD (District Interior Division), that on October 13, "they took all the Imamurzaev's relatives" – both distant and close ones, and "were terribly abusing them." "I'm very sorry for his parents, sister and wife," says the message. So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no confirmation, and cannot check the truthfulness of the information posted on the above Telegram channel.
