In Azerbaijan, death toll among civilians rises up to 43
Since September 27, 43 civilians have been killed, and 214 others have been injured, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reports today. The death toll includes three schoolchildren, while 40 school buildings were destroyed or damaged as a result of shelling attacks, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan reports today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 10, an agreement on ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone entered into force, but the parties to the conflict continued to report about battles and shelling attacks.

This morning, the Terter District has been subjected to missile attacks and artillery bombardment. As a result, Adavat Akhdunov, a resident of the Terter District, was killed: the man was fatally wounded by shell fragments that hit his house. The very house was badly damaged. Since September 27, in Azerbaijan, the death toll among civilians reached 43, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported.
Today, eight persons have been injured when a shell hit a yard of the secondary school in the village of Duyarly in the Terter District. Since the beginning of the conflict aggravation, the number of injured civilians has reached 214. As a result of the shelling attacks, 1505 residential houses, 66 apartment buildings, and 77 public buildings were destroyed, the General Prosecutor's Office reports on its official website.
On October 13, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Education reported that three schoolchildren were killed since the beginning of the Karabakh conflict aggravation.
In the village of Duyarly, the secondary school building was destroyed as a result of the today's shelling attack. In total, since September 27, about 40 school buildings have been damaged, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan reports on its official website.
