Azerbaijan and Armenia report provocations after ceasefire

As a result of shelling of the Agdam District from the Armenian side, a resident of Chemenli village was killed, the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) has reported. The country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has claimed the repulsed attacks on Gadrut and Djebrail. The Armenian side reported about saboteurs who killed two residents of Gadrut while trying to enter the city.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the fighting in the conflict zone began on September 27. Later, Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on a ceasefire from September 10, but after that they exchanged accusations of violating the ceasefire.

On Saturday evening, Azerbaijan again accused Armenian militaries of violating the ceasefire. According to the Azerbaijani GPO, the death toll of the country's residents has reached 32; other 171 people were wounded.

The ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh (NK) is generally observed, but Azerbaijani militaries resort to provocations, said Artsrun Ovannisyan, the spokesman for the Armenian MoD.

According to his version, Azerbaijani sabotage groups tried to penetrate the city of Gadrut. They killed a local woman and her disabled son, Artak Beglaryan, the NK's Ombudsperson, wrote on the Facebook.
