Azerbaijan claims shelling of villages in five border districts

In the Karabakh conflict zone, villages of the Barda, Agdjabedi, Goranboy, Terter and Agdam Districts are being shelled; there are dead and wounded, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 5, Azerbaijani authorities announced the shelling of the cities of Ganja, Tartar, Bard, Beilagan and Goradiz. Women and old people have left the frontline villages, but the rest of the villagers do not want to leave their houses. They help each other with foodstuffs and medicines; and they repair the damaged houses together. On October 7, residents noted a decrease in shelling intensity.
