MIA of Kabardino-Balkaria has again announced search of human rights defender Ruslan Nakhushev

The information published in the "Kabardino-Balkarskaya Pravda" newspaper (on 13.12.2006) about search of 23 especially dangerous criminals is again listing the name of human rights activist Ruslan Nakhushev.

Anuar Dikinov, Nakhushev's advocate, giving his comments on the fact, has called it "a violation of the norms of the Code of Criminal Procedure, Constitution of the Russian Federation and European Convention on Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms."

We remind you that Ruslan Nakhushev, a former KGB major, director of the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "All-Russian National Military Fund - Elborus," a well-known public figure and human rights defender, disappeared on November 4, 2005, after interrogation at the FSB Department for Kabardino-Balkaria. Until now, nothing is known about his whereabouts.

Relatives of Ruslan Nakhushev sent a complaint to the address of the president of Kabardino-Balkaria and prosecutor of the Republic asking to exclude Ruslan Nakhushev from the list of searched especially dangerous criminals.
