Ramzan Kadyrov and his adviser excuse violence against Salman Tepsurkaev

The leader of Chechnya was embarrassed only by the fact that a video with torture of Salman Tepsurkaev, a moderator of the "1ADAT" Telegram channel, was made public. The speaker of the Chechen parliament also considered it correct to punish a man in such a way for insulting women. Some Instagram users agreed with the leader of Chechnya and his adviser, but the most users expressed their indignation with the cruelty of humiliation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that experts of adats (local customary practices observed by a Muslim community, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") did not find any excuses for the humiliation of Salman Tepsurkaev.

In his post on Instagram, Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament, suggested that a man whose female relative had been insulted by Salman Tepsurkaev could arrange the punishment for him.

Some social network users also condemned Salman Tepsurkaev for his behaviour towards women. "There is no excuse for those men who touch the honour of women," user _razboynik_95 believes.

Other commentators found the humiliation of Salman Tepsurkaev to be too cruel.

"Islam Kadyrov, former Mayor of Grozny, used an electric shocker against women. What punishment did he undergo?" asked user asssssssazefthjkk.

Another user also mentioned Islam Kadyrov, who was torturing women with electric current and beating elderly people. "And why Islam Kadyrov was not punished? After all, he also insulted Chechen women," wrote user adam131266.

Meanwhile, another video with Salman Tepsurkaev was posted on Instagram. In the new video, the young man insults those people who arose hype about his punishment, which, according to the man, he chose for himself.

According to Salman Tepsurkaev, social network users should have expressed their indignation not in connection with his self-humiliation, but in connection with his insulting posts "about other people's mothers and sisters."
