Gagieva finds her husband detained after CTO

An investigator told Leyla Gagieva, a resident of Ingushetia, that her husband, who was detained after a counterterrorist operation (CTO), was kept at the temporary detention facility (known as the IVS).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 23, during a CTO conducted in the village of Troitskoye, Sunzha District, three men were killed. The day before, they asked the house owners to let them in for a night. The man who had sheltered them was detained; and they don't allow seeing him, his wife Leyla Gagieva has informed.

As it became known to Leyla Gagieva, her husband was kept at the IVS of the Sunzha District. According to her story, the investigator failed to explain why her husband had been detained. "He didn't say anything to me on the phone. I'm going there to find out everything on the spot. We know nothing – why he was detained. I turned to the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the prosecutor's office about my husband's disappearance, but everywhere I was told that they didn't know where he was," said the woman.
