Appointment of Kadyrov's daughter to Ministry of Culture sparks irony among Instagram users

Aishat Kadyrova has been appointed the first deputy of Chechen minister of culture only because of her kinship with the head of the republic, Instagram users have suggested.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 1, Ramzan Kadyrov announced the appointment of his 21-year-old daughter Aishat to the post of the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Chechnya.

Almost the entire ruling system in Chechnya is tied personally to Ramzan Kadyrov and people close to him. According to the BBC Russian Service, out of 158 high-ranking officials in Chechnya, 30% are Kadyrov's relatives, 23% are his fellow villagers, and other 12% are his friends and their relatives.

On September 1, the post about the appointment of Aishat Kadyrova as First Deputy Minister of Culture appeared in the page of the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company) on the Instagram and in the public "ChP/Grozny".

Authors of many comments in social networks expressed their joy for Ramzan Kadyrov's daughter and wished her success.

However, some users reacted mockingly to the appointment of Kadyrov's daughter. "It's good in the Czech Republic! So little is needed to become the First Deputy Minister of Culture," wrote, in particular, the user d_milana7092. "If you are a president's daughter, you'll get such a post with no problems," the user tamila56664 has confirmed in her reply.

Some users have ironically suggested that the appointment of Kadyrov's daughter has put the Minister of Culture into a difficult position. "I can imagine the minister giving instructions to her ... The minister is probably 'very happy'," the user lamiss_ihlas_ has written.
