CTO in Ali-Yurt becomes sixth in Ingushetia since early 2020

Today, one of the suspected militants has been killed in a counterterrorist operation (CTO) held in the village of Ali-Yurt in the Nazran District. The CTO in Ali-Yurt was preceded by four other special operations in the Sunzha District and one in Nazran conducted in 2020.

On Wednesday, a source from the law enforcement bodies reported that a special operation was underway in the village of Ali-Yurt in the Nazran District of Ingushetia and that one of the suspected militants was killed in an explosion.

Earlier, on August 23, a CTO was announced in the village of Troitskoye in the Sunzha District of Ingushetia, and sources reported about three killed militants.

On August 6, a special operation took place in Nazran and in the village of Sagopshi in the Malgobek District, during which one suspected militant was killed.

Furthermore, on May 30, the CTO legal regime was imposed in Sunzha, a shootout occurred in the city. The suspected militants took refuge in a building, which law enforcers assaulted. Sources reported that two suspected militants had been killed in the CTO.

On May 13, a special operation took place on the far bank of the Assa River in the Sunzha District. In the forests on the border with Chechnya, law enforcers were searching for militants from the grouping led by Aslan Byutukaev.

On March 4, during a CTO held in the village of Alkun in the Sunzha District, a suspected militant was killed, later identified as a native of Dagestan, a source reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the recent special operation was carried out in the Nazran District on February 10, 2018. Then the law enforcement bodies reported about the elimination of two suspected militants, natives of Dagestan.
