Kabardino-Balkaria: criminal case initiated against members of the Department for Fighting Terrorism
The correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" has learnt from unofficial sources that the prosecutor's office of Nalchik, capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, has initiated a criminal case against unidentified employees of the "T" Centre under Article "Excess of official powers with application of violence and special means."
The employees of the "T" Centre have applied violence and special means in relation to residents of the town of Prokhladny R. Bulatov and M. Dambegov, detained in September and charged of illegal arms possession (allegedly, a grenade was found on them at detainment, however, the detainees assert that it was planted).
After detainment, Bulatov and Dambegov were subject to beating and tortures with use of electric shock device, a conclusion of the forensic medical examination to this end is available.
