Verdict to Nurpashi Kulaev may be cancelled
The Supreme Court has appointed to consider on December 26 possible cancellation of the verdict passed to Nurpashi Kulaev, the only survived participant of Beslan school seizure. Today, the ITAR-TASS was informed about it at the Court.
We remind you that the Supreme Court of North Ossetia, where the criminal case on charging Nurpashi Kulaev was considered, had pled the militant insurgent guilty on all the nine heavy Articles, presented to him by the public prosecutor's office, and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
Meanwhile, on December 4, Elena Avdonina, 33, one more victim of the Beslan terror act, died in a Krasnodar hospital, the victims' committee "Beslan Mothers" told the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot." Thus, the total number of victims of the Beslan terrorist act has reached 334 persons.
We remind you that on September 1-3, 2004, as a result of hostage-taking at school No. 1 of Beslan city, according to official data, 333 persons perished, including 320 hostages, among them - 186 children.
