R. Kadyrov: Russian militaries must respond for tortures and murders of Chechnya residents
Ramzan Kadyrov, chairman of Chechnya government, has stated that he will strive to bring to responsibility the federal troops commanders in charge of murdered or missing peaceful citizens of Chechnya.
During a meeting with the members of the Chechen youth parliament, Mr. Kadyrov-junior has declared, that the leadership of the country sent servicemen to Chechnya "not to be guilty for deaths of peaceful citizens but to set the constitutional order and fight terrorists." However, the militaries were bombing houses without even learning who was inside - peaceful citizens or members of illegal armed formations, the prime minister of Chechnya confessed, the "Interfax" reports.
"If a Chechen commits a minor offence, he is punished to the maximum, while those guilty of assassination of plenty of people are still at large," Kadyrov has stated, the NEWSru.com informs.
We note here that human rights activists, in their turn, are accusing the so-called "Kadyrovtsy" of committing many crimes in Chechnya.
