Kadyrov explains his absence by pre-scheduled health survey

Speaking live on air, Ramzan Kadyrov showed that he had no catheter fixed and stated that he was healthy, but was undergoing a pre-planned medical examination in a Moscow hospital.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 15-26, Kadyrov did not appear in public; and then, after a long absence, held a sitting of the headquarters on combating coronavirus. The video from the sitting reinforced the version of his illness. An object similar to a medical catheter is visible on Kadyrov's hand, Instagram users have noticed.

On May 27, Ramzan Kadyrov answered live questions on the Instagram account of his assistant, Akhmed Dudaev, Director of the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company). "One question has interested people most of all. I answer: I'm healthy," Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel after the live broadcast.

He has explained that he is obliged, as the head of a republic, to undergo regular medical examinations and spend at least a day and a half in the hospital. "I need to undergo a medical examination; we are obliged to undergo it every year. Everyone around is called on to drink tea with lemon, and to strengthen one's immunity. But can't I at least have a dropper? And so, I'm absolutely healthy," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has translated Kadyrov's words.

During the live broadcast, Kadyrov rolled up his sleeves and demonstrated both hands to prove the absence of a catheter there.
