COVID-19 death toll in Southern Caucasus increased due to Armenia and Azerbaijan

The number of coronavirus deaths in Southern Caucasus, including the unrecognized republics, has reached 75. Over the past 24 hours, five people have died in Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 3, the number of patients who died from COVID-19 in the countries of Southern Caucasus – Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia – reached 69.

Over the past 24 hours, five more coronavirus patients died in the countries of Southern Caucasus, according to data of the Johns Hopkins American University.

One patient died in Azerbaijan, where 26 deaths have been registered since the start of the epidemic. Four people died in Armenia, the total number of coronavirus deaths in the country has reached 39.

In Georgia, no new deaths have been registered during the past 24 hours; since the start of the epidemic, nine patients have died in this country.

In total, as of May 4, the region has fixed 75 deaths of coronavirus patients.
