Telegram chat administrator detained after protest action in Vladikavkaz

In Moscow, law enforcers have detained Arsen Besolov, an administrator of a Telegram chat. The chat was for communication among the supporters of Vadim Cheldiev, the initiator of an unauthorized rally against self-isolation held in Vladikavkaz.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 20, law enforcers dispersed several hundred opponents of the self-isolation regime away from Freedom Square in Vladikavkaz; the protesters demanded the resignation of the government, parliament, and the head of North Ossetia. The police reported 69 detainees.

Vadim Cheldiev, the initiator of the unauthorized rally, who called for a rally in the central square of Vladikavkaz, was detained even before the rally began.

"Today (on April 29) in the morning in Moscow, Arsen Besolov, the administrator of the chat of Vadim Cheldiev's supporters, was detained by unidentified persons," Indira Gabolaeva, an activist from North Ossetia, wrote in her Facebook page. She has stated that at first Besolov's relatives could not find out where he was, and filed an application about his kidnapping. However, later it became known that he was being convoyed to Vladikavkaz, she wrote.
