Source announces details on those killed in special operation in Baksan District
Two out of three alleged militants killed in the Baksan District were residents of the village of Dygulybgey, who had served their prison terms for illicit dealing in explosives, the sources from law enforcement bodies of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that after receiving information about the preparation of a terror act, law enforcers tried detaining the above three suspects near the village of Kremenchug-Konstantinovskoe in the Baksan District. During a shootout all the three were killed.
The casualties were identified as a 32-year-old resident of Nalchik and two residents of the village of Dygulybgey aged 30 and 32, the RIA "Novosti" reported referring to a law enforcement source.
According to law enforcers, the killed residents of Dygulybgey had been sentenced to four years in prison for illegal dealing in explosives.
According to the source, in May 2010, together with their two friends, they transported homemade bombs, one of which exploded. One person was killed, the other three were detained.
