Azerbaijan reports enemy losses in Karabakh conflict zone

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan claimed an attempted act of sabotage on the front line and one killed enemy soldier. The Ministry of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh called the Azerbaijani MoD's report the misinformation.

On March 24, Azerbaijan claimed shelling attacks on four villages and 24 cases of violation of the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone.

Units of the Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire and committed an attempt of sabotage in the Goranboy direction of the front (north of Karabakh), the press service of the Azerbaijani MoD reported.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, an enemy soldier was killed by return fire.

The message reporting that the Karabakh army resorted to provocation and left one soldier in the neutral territory is misinformation, the Ministry of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh reports. It also adds that the Defence Army complies with the ceasefire regime. "We urge Azerbaijan to refrain from aggravating the situation artificially and not to provoke further escalation," the Ministry of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh declared on its official website.
