Four children and two women brought from Syria to Grozny

Two women and four children of one of them have been returned to Chechnya from the Syrian camp of Al-Khol.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 7 it became known that 26 children were returning from Syria to Russia. On February 8, two girls out of these 26 children were returned home to Astrakhan; and two other children whose parents perished in Syria were taken to Grozny.

On March 10, two women and four children of one of them aged from three to eleven were brought to Grozny. Relatives met them at the airport in the capital of Chechnya, the TASS reports.

Let us remind you that in December 2019, relatives of the children that occurred in Syria and Iraq asked President Vladimir Putin to help bring their daughters and grandchildren home. The appeal was signed by about 2000 people.

According to various sources, in the Middle East, there are hundreds or even thousands of children from Dagestan, Chechnya and other regions of the Caucasus. Their life and health are in particular danger after the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court, began suffering massive defeats.
