Swedish special services investigate attack on Tumso Abdurakhmanov

The inquiry into the attack on the Chechen blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, committed in the Swedish city of Gävle, has been transferred to the special service that deals with threats to state security.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 26, a man penetrated into Abdurakhmanov's apartment and attacked him with a hammer. On March 3, it became known that the blogger had identified the attacker by the photos posted on the latter's page in a social network. The data of the page owner matched the data of the person whom the Prosecutor's Office asked to arrest – Ruslan Mamaev, a Russian citizen, born in 1990.

The man, who had attacked on Tumso Abdurakhmanov, came to his senses and gives testimony, Mokhmad (Mukhammad) Abdurakhmanov, Tumso's brother, has informed.

Teresa Stensson, the prosecutor in charge of the inquiry into the case, has confirmed that one of the versions is an "order from Russia," The "Svenska Dagbladet" newspaper writes.
