Tumso Abdurakhmanov reports details of attempt and arrest

The Chechen blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, has told about his arrest after the fight with a man who penetrated into his apartment and tried to kill him with a hammer; Tumso has reported the details of the incident.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the above attack on Tumso Abdurakhmanov was committed on February 26, when the attacker penetrated his apartment with a hammer. Abdurakhmanov managed to disarm him and called the police. Both were hospitalized:

On March 2, Tumso Abdurakhmanov posted in his YouTube account the video "Attempt: how it was".

"It all happened on February 26 in the Swedish city of Gävle, where I've lived for the last three months. At about one or two o'clock at night, within this interval [...] I slept in my apartment, in the bedroom. I was woken up by powerful blows to my head. When I opened my eyes, a man with such an angry expression in his face was sitting on me. He was mumbling and very intensively hitting me with something iron on my head," the blogger has told.

Then, Abdurakhmanov said that at some point he managed to fight off the attacker and intercept the hammer. The blogger began beating the attacker. "I deliberately tried to knock him out in order to call the police," said Tumso.

According to his story, he managed to twist the man up, tie him with Scotch tape and call the police.

"On the following day, I was officially charged with an attempted murder, but after the first interrogation, the prosecutor changed his mind and three days later all the charges were completely dropped from me. Now I am in the victim status," said Abdurakhmanov.
