Tumso Abdurakhmanov reports his good health condition after attempt

The blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, who was attacked in late February, has warned his relatives that for some time he would not be able to keep in touch with them.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 26, Tumso Abdurakhmanov was attacked. A man with a hammer broke into his apartment. Abdurakhmanov managed to disarm him and called the police. Both were hospitalized:

Tumso Abdurakhmanov has contacted his relatives, saying that he was feeling well and is now safe, the VAYFOND Association informed on March 1 on its website. According to Abdurakhmanov, in the near future he will not be able to go online.

The Association has emphasized that neither Tumso himself nor his advocate will be able to comment on the details of the investigation.

On March 1, the Norwegian television TV2 Channel published a large material on its website dedicated to the attack on Abdurakhmanov. The article states that the incident occurred "in the quiet town of Gavle in central Sweden."

"The Swedish police have accused the man of an attempted murder. The blogger who was seriously injured himself is in the hospital under police surveillance [...] The large Chechen community in exile in Scandinavia is shocked by what happened. Chechen leaders in Norway fear that a wave of deaths will come there, which recently had claimed the lives of several of their compatriots in Europe [...] They believe that Russian intelligence is now working freely in Europe," says the article translated by the "Caucasian Knot" by using the Google Translate.
