Facebook users support harassed female student from Vladikavkaz
Journalist Anna Kabisova and psychologist Alyona Ramonova initiated a flash mob with the hashtag #I'm_not_an_ideal_dancer to support a female student who was subjected to harassment after a public dance.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a black male student of supplementary courses at a university and a female student of the Vladikavkaz Lyceum voiced public apologies for their dance, which local residents considered indecent. The female dancer claimed that after that she began to receive threats and demands to apologize again.
On January 27, a flash mob with the hashtag #I'm_not_an_ideal_dancer in support of the students was launched on social networks. The flash mob was initiated by Anna Kabisova, a journalist well known in the republic, and psychologist-teacher Alyona Ramonova. They suggested writing words of support for the female student and sharing photos and videos with dance elements, the "Kavkaz.Realii" reported on January 28.
"We want to tell the girl that she should not be afraid of anyone and know that a lot of good people live in Ossetia," said Anna Kabisova as quoted by the "Kavkaz.Realii".
