Chechen minister responds to reports about "expulsion of a genie" from a woman

Djambulat Umarov, Chechen Minister of National Policy, called a "fake" a complaint filed by Aminat Lorsanova who claimed that a specialist in "expelling genies" had beaten her in the presence of her relatives. The traditional Islamic medicine does not provide for such treatments, Djambulat Umarov notes.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 20, Aminat Lorsanova, a 22-year-old native of Chechnya, who left Russia with the help of the "Russian LGBT Network" in April 2019, claimed that in Grozny, she had been subjected to violence by her relatives and a specialist in "expelling genies."

Aminat Lorsanova claims that in 2018, she was forcibly placed to psychiatric hospitals in Grozny, where an acquaintance of her relatives beat her with a stick while reading the Koran. Meanwhile, the relatives did not respond to the Aminat's requests to stop the beating.

"A Chechen girl is misled ... 22-year-old Aminat Lorsanova fell victim to LGBT media technologists and Caucasian-phobes," Djambulat Umarov wrote on Instagram.

Let us remind you that the harassment based on sexual orientation is typical for Chechnya.
