Polonkoev teip regrets about murder in Sunzha
Members of the Polonkoev teip (family clan) are now regretting about the conflict that occurred in Sunzha over clan towers and the murder of a man. In his return appeal, a member of the opposing Evloev teip has threatened the opponents with responsibility for the death of Aslanbek Evloev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on December 30, a conflict broke out in the Sunzha District with a shootout among members of the Evloev and Polonkoev teips. One person perished and six others were hospitalized, as Ingush law enforcement sources have reported.
Members of the Polonkoev teip have expressed their regret and condolences to relatives of the murdered member of the Evloev teip. Their video appeal was posted on December 30 in the page "ChP Ingushetia" on the Instagram. The authors have noted that members of their teip had also suffered – "some four to five people." The teip states that they didn't want such a development of events.
A member of the Evloev teip has also posted a response appeal in the same Instagram page.
"[member of the Polonkoev teip], you're now appealing to the republic. You're late with this ... You've made a zulma (violence) ... You'd know that you'll be held responsible for this," the response statement says, as translated by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
