Serzh Sargsyan's property arrested

During the investigation into a criminal case, instituted on the fact of the embezzlement of state funds on an especially large scale, an arrest was imposed on the property of Serzh Sargsyan, the third president of Armenia, and Barseg Beglaryan, the president of the "Flash" Company.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 4, Serzh Sargsyan was charged with misappropriation of more than one million US dollars. On December 5, investigators called Barseg Beglaryan, an owner of the "Flash" Company, an accomplice of Serzh Sargsyan in the case on the embezzlement of the amount exceeding one million US dollars.

The property of Serzh Sargsyan, the third president of Armenia, and Barseg Beglaryan, the president of the "Flash" Company, was arrested, the "News.am" reported on December 18 with reference to the Special Investigating Service.

"Within the investigation into the criminal case instituted on the fact of the embezzlement of state funds on an especially large scale, the arrest is imposed on the properties of the defendants in the amount of damage caused as a result of the alleged crime," the "Sputnik Armenia" quotes the spokesperson of the Special Investigating Service as reporting.
