North-Ossetian woman claims her brother's death after interrogation

Timur Khinchagov died in a hospital in the Leningrad Region shortly after he got into some power structure, his sister, Kaira Khinchagova, has stated. In her opinion, her brother was beaten up by law enforcers.

The woman said in her video message posted in the VKontakte social network, her brother was detained on October 23, and ended up in a coma in a hospital on October 24, and died after the surgery.

According to her story, law enforcers deny the fact of beating the man. "They assert that he hit himself to death – he banged his head against the walls," she has added.

Most social network users have blamed Russian authorities for such cases.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Vladimir Tskaev, a 39-year-old resident of Vladikavkaz, was detained on October 31, 2015, on suspicion of assaulting a policeman. On November 1, finding him in the morgue, his sister Irina saw numerous traces of injuries on his body. Tskaev's relatives and acquaintances went out to a rally demanding to find out the reason of his death. The case of Tskaev's death came to court only three years later.
