Investigators define weapon used to kill Eldjarkiev

Ibragim Eldjarkiev, the head of the Ingush "E" Centre (CCE – Centre for Combating Extremism), was shot dead from a "Kedr" (Cedar) pistol- submachine gun, used by special services, the "Mash" Telegram channel has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 2, Ibragim Eldjarkiev was shot dead in Moscow. His brother Akhmed Eldjarkiev, a doctor at a Moscow hospital, also died. Policemen check nine people for involvement in the murder.

According to investigators, the Eldjarkievs were shot dead from a "Kedr" pistol-submachine gun, made in 2010, the "Mash" Telegram channel has specified.

"At the scene of the murder, ten shells and three bullets were found. Despite the use of the pistol-submachine gun, the killer fired single shots. The "Kedr", designed back in the Soviet Union, is used by anti-terror forces, internal troops and special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA)," the channel said.

The "Caucasian Knot" cannot verify the information of this anonymous Telegram channel.
