Blood feud version voiced out after Eldjarkiev's murder

The murder in Moscow of Ibragim Eldjarkiev, the head of the Ingush Centre for Combating Extremism (CCE), was committed amid his conflict with the followers of Sheikh Batal-Hadji, one of whose leaders was killed in 2018, sources inform.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 2, Ibragim Eldjarkiev, the head of the Ingush CCE (also known as "E" Centre) was shot dead in Moscow. His brother also perished.

According to a competent source, the assassination of the CCE head may be related to the blood feud custom, as recently Ibragim Eldjarkiev had disagreements with one of the influential Ingush communities.

Ibragim Eldjarkiev had a conflict with followers of Batal-Hadji, the "Ren TV" reported on November 2. Ibrahim Belkharoev, one of the followers' leaders, was killed in December 2018; his relatives believed that law enforcers from the CCE could have been behind the murder, the TV channel said on its website.

  • Compensation decrease for illegal prosecution violates rights of KBR resident

The court ruling, which awarded Madin Gubzhokov compensation of 30,000 roubles for unlawful criminal prosecution, is incomparable with the moral harm caused by the actions of Azamat Kyaov, a former law enforcer.
