Tumso blames Kadyrov for breaching Chechen traditions

Prior to blaming participants of wedding parties for demonstrating their feelings, the head of Chechnya himself spoke on the federal channel about his relations with wife, the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, has pointed out. YouTube users agree that Kadyrov has no moral right to criticize violators of Chechen traditions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 2, the Instagram posted a video clip, in which a resident of Chechnya apologized to Kadyrov for his tears at his sister's wedding party. The young man's apology was the fifth public repentance in nine days for the behaviour at wedding ceremonies.

Tumso Abdurakhmanov posted a video in which he presented excerpts from the NTV channel's broadcast dedicated to Ramzan Kadyrov. "It was you who began to puff out, all over the world, your relationships with your wife, starring in a programme and telling how you loved your wife and how glad you were to find your soul mate; and your wife told how romantic you were, how you like to pamper her with surprises and didn't like strong makeup," the blogger said, addressing the head of Chechnya.

By 4:15 p.m. Moscow time on October 7, the video clip posted by Tumso Abdurakhmanov and entitled "Who encroaches on Chechen traditions?" gathered over 40,700 pageviews and over 1200 comments. The blogger's position was supported by commentators.

"We're waiting for a video, where Ramzan Kadyrov apologizes to all Chechens for his repeatedly violating Chechen traditions ... Unless, of course, he treats himself a true Chechen!" the user Askhat kz has commented on the video clip.

"Finally, someone has said this! I agree completely with you, brother. He surely can't talk about this at all, because he himself began violating the age-old our fathers' traditions!" wrote the user Milan Bek.

Kadyrov should not have criticized wedding parties either as a Muslim or as the head of the region, YouTube users have noted. "Even elementarily, every Muslim knows that it is impossible to expose sins of one's brothers and sisters. We are all not ideal," wrote the user Umar Kaibov.
