Social network users treat Guf's apology to Chechens as forced one

The apologies of rapper Guf (Alexei Dolmatov) to Chechens were ambiguously perceived by social network users. One should respond for what he says, some commentators have noted. Guf has apologized under pressure, others considered, recalling the practice of public apologies in Chechnya and beyond.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Guf recorded a video with an apology for his careless word pronounced during an interview about women, including natives from the Caucasus.

Most of the comments to the post with Guf's apology approve his deed. At the same time, many commentators had perceived his words in the interview as a joke, and were surprised at his repentance.

The public pro_chechnya on the Instagram also contains comments of those, who don't agree that Guf had insulted the Chechen people. Users express the opinion that Guf's apologies were made under pressure. They also criticize the practice of public apologies.

"Kadyrov is probably enjoying this apologies," the user abdurahman_61_ has suggested.

"Chechens love when people apologize," the user nastoyashiy_dimon_mina writes.
