One of those killed in Chegem buried in Dagestan
Magomed Kurbanaliev, who was killed on September 18, in a special operation conducted in the city of Chegem, was buried into the cemetery of the village of Kosyakino near Kizlyar.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 18, during a counterterrorist operation (CTO), conducted in the Kabardino-Balkarian city of Chegem, law enforcers blocked a private house, in which, according to their version, militants were hiding. The offer to surrender was answered by shots, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has informed. In a shootout, two persons were killed who, according to the Russian FSB (Federal Security Bureau), had planned a terror act.
The burial of the 20-year-old Magomed Kurbanaliev, who was killed on September 18 in the outskirt of Chegem, was reported on the website of the Kizlyar administration.
Magomed Kurbanaliev was a native of the Tsuntin District of Dagestan; he was buried on September 22 into the cemetery of the village of Kosyakino, Kizlyar District. His funeral was organized by his mother, the 36-year-old Shakhruzat Davudova.
Kurbanaliev grew up in a problem family; and his brother was convicted for links with militants, local authorities have informed.
The same website also reports, without reference to sources, that the second man killed in Chegem on September 18 was Khasan Baizulaev, 24, from the city of Tyrnyauz, Elbrus District of Kabardino-Balkaria.
Earlier, the casualties' names were not officially announced.
