Dagestani resident apologizes to Ramzan Kadyrov for challenging him to a duel

A resident of Makhachkala, who called the leader of Chechnya to a duel because of his statements about Imam Shamil, posted a new video in which he called himself "a Kadyrov's foot soldier." A new appeal to the leader of Chechnya followed after a conversation with MP Adam Delimkhanov. Apologies of the Dagestani resident continued the practice of public apologies to Ramzan Kadyrov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 21, in a video appeal to Ramzan Kadyrov, Gadjimurad Isabekov challenged him to a duel because of the statements about Imam Shamil. Ramzan Kadyrov did not answer the challenge. The "brave men" who insult Ramzan Kadyrov face the risk of "crawling at his feet," threatens Djambulat Umarov, Minister for National Policy of Chechnya.

"Regarding the challenge to Ramzan ... In case if you, Ramzan Akhmatovich, are hurt at least a little, then, Ramzan, I apologize to you," Gadjimurad Isabekov said in his new video.

The man also said that he was ready to give his life for Ramzan Kadyrov.

Instagram users suggested that the apology was forced. Some users wrote the video contained signs of editing.

The practice of forcing people to make public apologies, initiated by Ramzan Kadyrov, became regular in Chechnya by 2015. So, on August 12, journalist Maxim Shevchenko apologized for saying that Ramzan Kadyrov had "shown his back" in the discussion about Imam Shamil.
