Father of detained Chechen tells details of conflict in Krasnodar

Khalid Khamidov, a native of Chechnya, has confessed to his participation in the mass brawl in Krasnodar, as he, along with other compatriots, tried to prevent a conflict, the detainee's father has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that one of the Chechens detained in Krasnodar is being tortured, as Ruslan Kutaev, the head of the "Assembly of Caucasian Nations", is asserting. The Chechen Ombudsperson has asked his colleagues in the Krasnodar Territory to check this information.

Kharon Bagaev, the father of the 34-year-old Khalid Khamidov, said that all the detainees had been beaten up.

Ruslan Kutaev wrote in his Facebook that he had met the father of one of the detained Chechens. His initiative to help the detained Chechens aroused support among social network users.
