KBR pilgrims share impressions about Hajj

400 pilgrims from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have committed their Hajj, having completely covered this year's quota allocated for the republic. The KBR pilgrims, who have returned from Mecca, noted a good organization of the tour.

The first group of 40 pilgrims returned to the KBR yesterday, August 19, Khizir Misirov, the head of the group and deputy chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM), told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The pilgrims interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent noted a nice organization of the Hajj.

Thus, Marina Tlupova, 55, said that she had been preparing for the Hajj for two years. She put off money from her salary; according to the woman, she has no other incomes.

"Impressions of the Hajj can't be narrated in words. They are both excitement and awe of the soul. Finding myself among so many Muslims of different skin colours, speaking different languages, but administering the dua (a Muslim prayer) in one language – Arabic, I felt extraordinary excitement, I even want to cry sobbing," said Marina.

She is pleased with how the trip was organized. "Our leader Khizir Misirov did everything so that we would not experience any inconveniences, and, at the same time, he perform all the necessary rituals so that our Hajj would be accepted," the woman has added.

Mukhamad Azamatov, a 29-year-old resident of Nalchik, has noted that the whole trip – from boarding the aircraft up to returning – made a sole deep impression on him.

"We have strengthened our faith. We used to read and hear about it, but now we have experienced it ourselves. I didn't want to leave the place," said Mukhamad.
