Georgia has three testing grounds ready for "Agile Spirit 2019"

Military servicemen from fourteen countries will take part in the "Agile Spirit 2019" multinational exercises, which will be held in Georgia from July 27 to August 9, 2019, the Georgian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that militaries from ten countries took part in the similar "Agile Spirit 2018", held in September 2018.

The "Agile Spirit" exercises are held in Georgia annually since 2011; they are one of the elements of Georgia's cooperation with the USA and NATO.

The "Agile Spirit 2019" military exercises under the motto "Strength in Partnership" will be held at three country's training ranges in Senaki, Vaziani and Orfolo. More than 3000 soldiers from 14 countries - members of the NATO and partner countries will be involved: Georgia, the USA, the United Kingdom, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent quotes the Georgian MoD's statement.

According to the MoD, the aim of the exercises is to increase interaction of the participating countries and contribute to the stability and security of the Black Sea region.
