Law enforcers raid "Tangim" mosque during Friday namaz

Cars of the parishioners of the "Tangim" mosque in Makhachkala were stopped on the road immediately after the Friday namaz (prayer) under the pretext of breaking traffic rules, the believers told the "Caucasian Knot".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that law enforcers in Makhachkala are regularly conducting Friday raids near the "Tangim" mosque in Makhachkala. On July 5, such a raid did without detentions, although one believer told about an attempt to bring him to the police station.

On July 19, more than 20 law enforcers on duty at the "Tangim" mosque after the Friday namaz, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported from the venue.

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) conducted an operation "Safety belt", by stopping the drivers with unfastened seat belts, one of the policemen told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
