Seven-year-old girl cruelly beaten in Ingushetia

A female relative of a seven-year-old girl, who was hospitalized with injuries in grave condition, is suspected of beating up the child, the Investigating Department (ID) for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported.

On July 4, the girl was taken to hospital in grave condition. Zarema Chakhkieva, the Children's Ombudsperson in Ingushetia, has reported that the girl was operated on; and surgeons managed to save her arm. The victim lived under in her relative's family. The latter claims that the girl fell down into a hole in the yard. However, the source said that "there are old scars from cuts, burns, and abrasions on the head" on the girl's body.

The above ID for Ingushetia has detained the girl's aunt on suspicion of beating up the child, the RIA "Novosti" writes with reference to the above ID of the ICRF.
