Akhmed Pogorov's relatives tell about seventh search of their households

The search, conducted on June 18 at the house of relatives of Akhmed Pogorov, a co-chairman of the World Congress of the Ingush People, frightened the children, his daughter-in-law has complained. This was the seventh search.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 18, 2019, law enforcers came to the house of Akhmed's father and two brothers in the city of Karabulak for a search. Another search of Akhmed Pogorov's and his relatives' houses was reported on May 17. After those searches, three activist's relatives were detained.

Akhmed Pogorov's relatives told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the search on June 18 was the seventh in a row conducted this year.

Frequent searches scare children, said Khava Pogorova, Akhmed's daughter-in-law.

She said that this time nothing was seized during the search.

According to Khava Pogorova, the local district policemen and the head of the criminal search division were not allowed to be present at the search on June 18. To the question 'What are you looking for?' they answered: 'When we find, we'll tell you.' The district policeman was not allowed to be present; they kept him aside there, on the path," said the woman.
