Azerbaijan blames Armenia for machine gun shelling of two villages

During the last 24 hours, the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line was broken for 28 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 2, Azerbaijan recorded 25 attacks on its positions undertaken within the past 24 hours.

On June 2-3, the Azerbaijani MoD fixed 28 violations of the ceasefire regime. The positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed on the nameless heights and in the village of Zamanly of the Gadabay District, as well as those deployed in the village of Guschu Airym of the Gazakh District came under fire, the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported today, adding that the shelling was carried out, in particular, from large-calibre machine guns.

As of 9:05 a.m. Moscow time today, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh had not responded to the above statement on their official websites.
