"Caucasian Knot": 96 activists prosecuted after rally in Ingushetia

According to the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", at least 96 activists were prosecuted after mass protests in Ingushetia in March, and criminal cases were instituted against at least 29 activists. In total, 82 people were detained, and at least 24 activists are still under arrest.

Ramzan Gagiev, an activist against whom a criminal case was instituted, was sent under house arrest. Two activists, Adam Azhigov and Ibragim Muzhakhoev, were released on recognizance not to leave. The fate of at least two activists, Mustafa Vyshegurov and Timur Oziev, is still unknown. One of the activists, Akhmed Pogorov, the co-chairman of the World Congress of the Ingush People, is put on the wanted list.

In total, according to the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", in the period from March 27 to May 31, at least 96 people got into the field of view of the law enforcement bodies. At least 26 people were fined, and 30 activists were sentenced to arrests.
