Unknowns take away head of Ingush Council of Teips

Today, Malsag Uzhakhov, the Chairman of the Council of Teips (family clans) of Ingushetia, was taken away today by people, who came to his house in cars, said Khasan Katsiev, an activist.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that after Uzhakhov took part in the protest actions, he was fined by 150,000 roubles. He explained the large fine by the fact that this was his repeated administrative punishment.

According to preliminary information, Uzhakhov was taken to Nalchik, where other arrested Ingush activists are kept, the "FortangaORG" Telegram Channel reports.

Let us remind you that on March 26, a rally against the law on referendum, which, according to the opposition, the authorities decided to amend in connection with the border agreement with Chechnya, transformed into an unsanctioned rally demanding the resignation of the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Evkurov. On March 27, an attempt to disperse the protesters led to clashes. According to investigators, 10 law enforcers were injured. On April 2, mass detentions of activists began. Over the first nine days, 40 persons were detained.
