Woman from Makhachka complains about kidnapping of her brother

A female relative of Makhachkala resident Omar Abdurashidov complained to the police that he was kidnapped while leaving a shop, advocate Sapiyat Magomedova reports today.

According to the advocate, she learned about the kidnapping from relatives of Omar Abdurashidov. A sister of the kidnapped man filed a complaint to the police. The woman reported that 42-year-old Omar Abdurashidov, who was kidnapped at about 5:21 p.m. Moscow time near No. 38 in Engels Street in Makhachkala, worked as the head of pension delivery in the Tarumovsky District. The man was forced into a white Gazel car and taken away to some unknown destination. Relatives have got records from video surveillance cameras, Sapiyat Magomedova informs the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to advocate Sapiyat Magomedova, there are several shops in the street where the man had been kidnapped. On that day, he visited the shop located in No. 38 in Engels Street. At the time of his kidnapping, Omar Abdurashidov managed to throw away his mobile phone, and a child found it later and brought it to the shop.

Sapiyat Magomedova ruled out the possibility that Omar Abdurashidov could have been kidnapped to be then accused of an extremist crime. Attempts to find out whether Omar Abdurashidov was kept at any police station in Makhachkala did not produce any results, the advocate reported.
