Kremlin refuses to react to Daudov's words about blood feud to Abdurakhmanov

The Kremlin has granted complete freedom to Chechen leadership, the blogger Tumso Abdurkhmanov assessed the federal authorities' reaction to the words of the Speaker of the Chechen Parliament, who declared blood feud to Tumso. Oppositionist Alexei Navalny has noted that Magomed Daudov's words are contrary to the status of a high-ranking official.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the online dispute of Magomed Daudov versus Tumso Abdurakhmanov resulted in the fact that on March 9, the former announced blood feud to the blogger, because of the latter's words about Akhmat Kadyrov.

The open threats of a high-ranking official to his political opponent should have caused some reaction of the federal authorities, Tumso Abdurakhmanov has stated.

"I haven't been long surprised with what representatives of Kadyrov's authorities say or do. [...] But I'm surprised at the absence of any adequate response from the highest echelons of the Russian power to the frank disrespect of Russian laws. Neither the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), nor other bodies have reacted," said the blogger, commenting on the words of Magomed Daudov about blood feud, in Alexei Navalny's weekly programme of #FutureRussia.

Alexei Navalny has noted that the words, with which Daudov is publicly operating, fail matching the status of a high-ranking official. "We can expect (to hear) this in the gateway or in the marketplace ... But this is the speaker of the parliament! [...] The second person in the republic declares blood feud," Mr Navalny has stressed.

Let us note here that Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, refused to comment on Daudov's statement on the blood feud under the pretext that "there is no such tradition of blood feud in the legal field."
