Data on Chechen-Ingush border entered into state registry

The updated Chechen-Ingush border has been checked by experts of federal agencies and entered into the "Rosreestr" (Unified State Real Estate Registry – USRER), the agency has announced today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, 2018, the heads of Chechnya and Ingushetia, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yunus-Bek Evkurov, signed an agreement on fixing the mutual border. In Ingushetia, the signing of the agreement and the adoption of the corresponding republic's triggered mass protests.

The Federal Cadastre Chamber of the "Rosreestr" has entered the data on the Chechen-Ingush border into the USRER. This is the first section of the border, which was entered into the USRER under the new rules, the website of the "Rosreestr" has reported today, explaining that "at present, the share of the borders between Russian regions, entered into the USRER, is 28%."

After the border data has been entered into the USRER, the Chechen authorities treat the issue as closed.
